Zach Bentsen how is your upcoming season? The team is off to a good start. We’ve worked really hard and have come a long way since the summer and I’m excited to see what happens next. What does football mean to you? Football is a huge part of my life. I have a great love for the sport that has taught me many lessons that I’ll carry with me for a very long time. Along with that are the guys that I’ve gotten to play with, the friends I’ve made over the years have been a huge part of my life as well. What has been your favorite memory so far this season? Probably Week 2’s game against Burlington Central, it was our military night and it’s always my favorite because I know a lot of friends and relatives that have served or are currently serving and I get a chance to show how much I appreciate them. What do you see in this Cary-Grove squad for Saturday? They are a good team that plays hard. We just need to play our game and limit the mental mistakes. It’s a great test that I’m looking forward to. How good can this Prairie Ridge team be? As good as we allow ourselves to be. We have been very good at times but have shot ourselves in the foot as well. If we stay focused on one week at a time and continue having solid practices then I think our team can be very successful.
