Cale McThenia Marian Central Catholic QB 6'3 210 Class of 2024
(Coach Big Pete Watchlist Name For The Class Of 2024)
Cale McThenia how was your offseason? The off-season was very eventful, I had camps and visited a bunch of schools like Illinois, Central Michigan, Northwestern, and more. Our team lifted and practiced almost every day of summer and were pushed harder than we have ever been pushed and it has been paying off tremendously What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know I’m committed to being the best player and man I can be, I believe that I have the ability to make it to the next level with my size, speed, arm talent, and my IQ. I just need someone to believe in me and give me that opportunity because I know I won’t make them regret it. What does football mean to you? Football to me is my comfort zone, when I play football, it makes me forget about everything going on around me and it’s just me and the game, I have a goal of being able to play at the collegiate level and have been working to make that dream come true for a long time now and won’t stop until I do What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I believe my strongest trait on the field is my arm talent, I’m able to fit balls into tight windows were only my guy can get it, I’m able to be mobile when the pocket collapses and make a play with my feet or my arm and being able to throw the deep ball far, and accurate Who on Marian Central Catholic should I be on the lookout for this season? I think that we have a lot of good players on our team but some players that will be exciting to watch this year are our wide receivers Christian Stavroplos, Matt Lajb, and Rylan Dolter, they all have a mix of speed and power and great hands What do you see in this Wheaton Academy squad for Friday night? They are a good team and have some great guys, but we have been preparing for this season for a while now and the coaches have prepared us for everything, we are going to go out and compete and we won’t slow down.
