James Penley Athlete Nazareth Class Of 2025 5'10 170
James Penley how has your season been for you so far? The season for me has been going well for the most part. There have been some challenges but nothing the team and I haven’t been able to overcome. What does football mean to you? Football to me is a blessing. It’s a game that when I’m playing it, everything outside of the stadium just fades away and I’m only focused on the current play. The field is like my sanctuary, and it is where I feel closest to God. What should college coaches know about you? I think college coaches should know that I enjoy working hard. I love watching hard work pay off and I understand that to see success on the field hard work is needed. I’m committed to finding every way to improve my game, whether it’s from a coach or fellow player. What do you see in this St. Rita squad for Friday night? We are a young team with a lot a heart playing a traditionally tough opponent. I believe we are up to the challenge. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I think my strong trait on the football field is my versatility. I start on both sides of the ball. I know the playbook for every wide receiver position on the field. On top of that I also know and have played every spot in our secondary. Who on Nazareth is having a breakout season? This year there are several players on this team who are having a breakout year filling roles left by graduated seniors on both sides of the ball.
