Mason Lancaster Grant 6'1 215 OL Class of 2024
Mason Lancaster how was your first week back on field? I think the first week went well. Although we didn't walk away with the W, I felt like the offense executed very well and the team didn't give up. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. I started playing with the Grant Jr. Bulldogs when I was 6 and fell in love with the game. I enjoy the bond you build with your brothers. What do you see in this Taft squad for Friday night? I see a big, well-coached, and physical team. What does Grant need to do to have successful night? I think we need to play fast and match the physicality that Taft brings to the table. What do you like about playing in the trenches? I enjoy diving headfirst into the battle and putting people on their backs. Who on Grant is ready for a breakout season these next 8 weeks? I think our quarterback, Rylan Art, is primed for a breakout. He's been on varsity since freshman year and works harder than anyone I know both on and off the field. He has good weapons in Braeden Carlson, Pryde Mendoza, Daymian Longtin, and Yedi Israel, along with plenty of other talented guys.
