Jack Weltha how was your 2019 season? I was our leading tackler on the team last year as well as our team captain, all conference as a middle linebacker and offensive tackle. I was defensive player of the year for BHS and BHS male athlete of the year. What should college coaches know about you? I’m a hard working kid with a great work ethic, I have good grades. My dad was an All American at Western IL, my brother was an All American at Mckendree, and my sister plays two sports currently at Truman State. What do you like about playing linebacker? The 1 on 1 physical matchups and the challenges, and seeing different offenses as well as going up against different opponents each week. What do you see in this Quincy Notre Dame squad for Friday night? They are a big physical group up front and we are going to have to play our best they also returned a lot of players as well. We are going to have to play a physical 4 quarters and know it’s going to be a dawg fight and bring our A game! What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My biggest strength that I bring to the team is leading on the field and my football acumen.
