Noah Verbrick how is your season going for you so far? It’s been full of ups and downs. Leaving the first game with a concussion and coming back week 4 is never how you want to start a season but now we’re on a bit of a win streak and look to carry this momentum for the rest of the season. What does football mean to you? Football has been my escape from everything bad for as long as I can remember . It’s hard to pinpoint what it means to me, the only word that comes to mind is everything. Football is everything to me. What do you see in this Taft squad for Friday night? I see our rival, I see the team that took us to overtime last season and came out with a victory that I felt we deserved. I see our next target. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My leadership, when I make plays my team rally’s to that and we all seem to play better. I’m able to see the field in ways I can communicate to my QB and Coaches that makes an impact on the play calls which recently has been working for us. Who else on Lane Tech should I be on the lookout for Friday night? Number 4 Benji Agunloye . He’s been crucial for us on the offensive end look for him to have another big game.
