Yassin Nabil Glenbard East WR Class Of 2023 5'9 165
Yassin Nabil how is you season going for you so far? My season has been great Lots of ups and downs but what makes this season different is the way we bounce back from those downs. Our defense has been phenomenal, and I got them boys over anybody’s offense they play hard every play and will hit you in the mouth if you try and score. Our offense at first was getting used to each-other so we made little mistakes that later on with communication with one another helped fix those mistakes. nobody is selfish and everyone on the field has the mindset of do your job and have your brothers back. I couldn’t play last week due to hand injury but I’m back this week and I got something to prove. What do you see in this Glenbard South squad for Friday night? I see some great talent that are going to try and compete with us, but I got my Glenbard East boys over anybody's offense, defense and special teams. What schools have you been talking to so far? I have an offer from Roosevelt University.... But a hand full of schools I been talking to are north Park, Augustana, USF, IWU, MSUM, Benedictine and more. What should college coaches know about you? I’m very dedicated to the sport and I’ll put everything on the line every single play. I take pride in what i do and i always got my teammates and coaches back because I look at those people as family. I don’t talk much but I will always speak up on the field if I see people's heads are down. I always check up on my people to make sure everything is straight. Who is one up and coming Ram player that people need to know about for coming GEHS Football seasons? It’s a list of names but I’ll say Dailen Zollicoffer he’s been there with me on varsity since his soph season and works very hard on and off the field he’s somebody you want to be around and someone you can talk to about anything. He’s a very skilled and physical WR don’t let size fool you he’s game smart and watches his film and goes into every game prepared vs Elgin he had 3 catches for 100 yards and 2 TDs so most definitely keep an eye out for him. What motivates a Yassin Nabil? All the pain and embarrassment of the past haunts me to do good not for my family but for myself. I dealt with a lot back then that I know can either make me or break and I'm most definitely not letting it break me. I got too many good people that depend on me and I'm not letting them down.
