Isaiah Cruz how is your season going for you so far? So far my season has been great sadly I only got to play 4 games instead of 5 because of covid but other than that this season is great I love balling out with my guys and having fun.. This season is something special. What does football mean to you? Football really means the world to me growing up and dreaming of playing and watching my older brothers play ball is something that got me where I am today. Football is everything to me and without football I don’t know where I will be today. Just going out there with the best family and the best team is the best feeling. The guys besides me are the best and most helpful people and they carry me to my dream of playing in bigger leagues. Football has been my passion since a little boy growing up and I still gain more love and learn new things as I keep playing What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait on the football field is my speed and my ability to make people miss. I think that has a big impact on my playing today and I plan to keep getting better What does Taft need to do to get the win Friday night? What we need to do is stick to our responsibilities, as long as our defense stays strong and does what they’re supposed to do. Our offense will get the job done as well I think we are the better team and have a huge advantage, if we can stay violent all game and put up a fight we will get the win. I trust all my teammates to step up and bring the intensity that we need What goals do you have for yourself the rest of the season? My goals for the rest of the season is to finish strong and have my best season in my high school football career. I hope to make a state run and possibly another city championship for our school. I want to leave an impact at Taft and to leave a mark on the field. I just want to have fun the rest of the season and ball out with my team.
