Thaddeus Gianaris how does it feel to be back on the field? Feels great, everybody’s been working so hard for so long I’m very glad we can finally play. What do you see in this Glenbrook North squad for Saturday? I see a lot of good players and I know they had a good game against Glenbrook south. I think they’re going to try and carry it over to us. It’s going to be a challenge for us, but the coaches are preparing us well. What do you like about playing on the defense? I like playing with such excellent teammates for sure. Our D-line stops the run and puts pressure on the pass, our linebackers are great in coverage or on a blitz, and the corners and safety’s do an excellent job shutting down the pass. It’s too bad that we’re not competing for a title this year because I think it would be very difficult to beat us. What should college coaches know about you? I would like them to know that on the field I bring great speed and power. I also work very hard to achieve my goals. What younger Maine South players should I keep an eye out for this Saturday? On offense, I think you’ll like how Mike Sajenko plays at running back. He’s very fast and shifty. There’s also Chris Petrucci at tight end, another fast, tough, and skillful player. On defense I think Tony Valdez is also a very solid player. On Special Teams I think you’ll enjoy how Frank Bartell and Jimmy Brander play.
