Alex Ortiz Glenbard South WR/DB Class Of 2023 5'10 170
Alex Ortiz how is your season going for you so far?
We’re off to a great start and the team is currently 6-1!
We’ve also clinched a playoff spot and are looking forward to making a run this year!
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything to me. It teaches countless life skills and forms bonds with friends that you’ll have for decades. Along with that, it also creates memories that’ll last a lifetime.
So what do you see in this Glenbard South squad for Friday Night?
I think it’s going to be a great physical game against a tough Glenbard east team, but I think our offense is going to do what they do best and put points on the board while our defense can hopefully limit their offense and get some crucial stops!
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I think my intelligence, overall strength, and leadership are my best traits on the field.
What it is one thing that you felt you improved on from last season to this season?
Over the offseason I really focused on my speed, agility, and strength and I think all three of those aspects have really improved.
What do incoming Raider players need to know about this Glenbard South program? I think incoming players need to be prepared to give their all in everything they do whether it’s in the classroom, on the practice field, or in the weight room and they will be held to high expectations if they choose to join the program!
