Luke Jelderks how was your first game back? It was nice getting back on the field with all the guys. I was a little nervous walking on the field for the first time as a quarterback, but after the first snap everything went back to normal. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me. I fell in love with the game when I went out for the team sophomore year. The camaraderie between all the guys is really special on and off of the field. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Definitely my speed. I love getting around the corner and utilizing my speed to get positive yards. What do you like about playing QB?
I like being in control of the tempo of the game. I also like having the option to run or pass the ball on pass plays. It gives me the ability to use my strengths when they are needed. I also enjoy the leadership component that the position comes with. Who else on Chicago Christian should I be on the lookout for this Friday night? There are so many great guys in this program. Matt Haan is definitely a number to watch. He moved to guard this season and will play great. Will Zabrocki and Liam Grady will also be a big help on our o-line this year.
