Deep Dish Football GOTW Johnston City 35 Sesser-Valier 14 Final Score - Indians Defense Impresses

IHSA Football Week 7 2021

Deep Dish Football Game of the Week

Johnston City 35 Sesser-Valier 14 Final Score

Player of the Game - Johnston City Defense

Sesser-Valier came out early with a 7-0 lead over the Indians and then JCHS fumbled after the first snap. After that mistake. JCHS took mighty awakening and scored 28 unanswered points. Till the 3rd quarter when Sesser-Valier 44 yard TD run by Jordan Reynolds. Sloppy play by both teams again its a part of the game. The question is now how much damage can both teams do in the playoffs. This Johnston City team is very athletic and you could see it with Austin Brown and Corbin Hickey defense and offense playmaking ability (Brown had one hell of a TD Catch). Isaiah Watson had trouble in the beginning but he warmed up in the lanes. Heath Neibch at times looked great, and lets not forget that Johnston City defense line as well. For Sesser-Valier they stood their ground against a tough Indian team and I like their array of running backs. They could be a huge dark horse when we get into the playoffs.
