Kaneland was preseason favorite to go far for an IHSA State title. Loss to Geneva a block in the road but everything is still fine with these Knights. Besides Morris the only real other challenge for this team is Sycamore. Couple surprise teams on the schedule but nothing this Kaneland squad can't handle. Kaneland has a trio of star Class of 2024 recruits in Carlson, Larson, Johnson. Kaneland has chance to be challenging for a state title for this and next season. But it all starts against Morris and getting that bad taste of Geneva loss out of their mouths. Kaneland's Secondary will be key for their run at a state title and the rest of the season.
