4 teams enter and 2 teams leave for the state finals in Champaign next week. Big time semifinal games with cold weather and a chance to play football after thanksgiving. A dream that began in the hot summer and becoming a fruition now. Johnston City, Sycamore, York have a shot at history this weekend. We will also be witnessing are very least Leonard Bowl almost fitting, isn't it? Talking about SHG we got two coaches in St. Rita Kuska and Ken Leonard finishing off their HOF careers to get a shot at a state title. Mount Carmel, Lena-Winslow, Lincoln Way East, St. Teresa, Maroa Forsyth looking unstoppable this whole season. We got 16 games of excitement and drams just waiting for us.
