Quentin Handy Jr. Zion - Benton DL Class of 2023 6'2 240

Quentin Handy how was your junior season? I would think my junior season went pretty well. I had a slightly more successful season from my all-conference season sophomore year but overall, I think I had a great season. What schools have you talked to so far? I really haven’t talk to a lot of schools besides Augustana and North Dakota state a bit. What does football mean to you? Football to me is a sport that can change lives not just my life everyone who has been supporting me through my journey. I’ve been playing football since 4th grade where I use to hate going to it, then but now it’s a part of my life it’s something that has grown on to me. That I know if I can use the right tools I can succeed in life and it’s also a way to help me continue my education further than just high school. What should college coaches know about you? That I'm about business... I'm willing to work hard to go to the next level and if coaches are willing to take a chance on me it wouldn’t be a letdown, I want to be the next best thing coming out of Zion, Illinois. What do you like about playing in the trenches? Everything you get to play hard nose football. The offense and defensive line are where the game really counts if you aren’t trying to take each other heads off. Then is it really the trenches I want to let it be known that the person across from me is going to have a long game. How does Zion-Benton look for the upcoming season? We’re going to have a great season this year, and we have players. Getting ready for the season we’re in the lab, studying plays, taking all advice we can to make sure we can put it on the field. To make sure we secure our spot in the playoffs so we can go down to state and win the big title and bring it back home.
