Ben Snider how has your first two weeks been back on the field? Actually, I have never played football before, and my first two games ever have been something I couldn’t have ever imagined.
What would you say to a student who is interested in going out for football next season? Getting to the field in the morning and practicing after school is a tough task to do every day, especially when the results come in later months when you play on Friday night. But when you do it with people who become as close as family it’s all worth coming out and doing it again. What does Stevenson football mean to you? Stevenson football goes past playing games together, we are a huge family who support, help and attend Stevenson events. Just recently many of the varsity football athletes were out coaching and announcing the Jr Patriots football games. We are a close bunch who connect outside of the football scene. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Confidence is one of my strongest traits due to the coaches and QB Matt Projansky’s trust in me as a player. They trust me on the field with certain plays being called and their trust gives me confidence in myself and my abilities as a player. What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season? A personal goal of mine is to break more Stevenson WR records and a team goal I have for us is to make a deep run into the IHSA playoffs.
