Alejandro Arellano Sterling Class of 2022 OL 6'3 250

Alejandro Arellano how was your Spring Season? My spring season went pretty good overall. My team went 5-1 and we had a very dominant run game. At the end of the season, I was named Second Team All-Conference in the Western Big Six. What does football mean to you? Football means the world to me. I love everything about it including the teamwork, dedication, and passion. I’m so thankful that I get to represent Sterling across the chest of my jersey and get to play on those Friday nights. Nothing is a better feeling than strapping up with my teammates and playing for our town. This game made me the person that I am today. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I’m very versatile and can play wherever they need me or filling a spot. I’m a guy who will get the job done no matter what. I will put all of my time and energy into the team and spending extra time to work on my craft. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel like my strongest trait is my explosiveness off the line when the ball is snapped. What do you like about playing in the trenches? The best thing is pancaking and overpowering my opponents. Another great feeling is seeing the wide open gaps that I made for my running backs when I watch the film and getting them to the end zone. How does Sterling look for the upcoming season? We got some guys returning back on the line from last year but we have some spots to fill. However, we got some guys that are hungry to fill those spots. I believe that we will have another successful year for Sterling.
