So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Colby Stotler how was your senior season? I think my season went pretty well. We got off to a great start early in the season and got back to the playoffs. Coming off of a 1-8 season last year, we knew we didn't want to go through another season like that, so my senior class stepped up and made things happen. What schools have you been talking to? I have been to UW-Platteville quite frequently. I also have been talking to Knox College as well as Rockford University. What should college coaches know about you? I think that they should know that they are getting a very adaptable player who brings a great work ethic and a whole lot of energy to the table. I am willing to step up when needed as a leader to my teammates no matter what. What do you like about playing in the trenches? I think that I like driving opponents my size onto their heels downfield and finishing the block on top of them the most. I also love to pull on unsuspecting Defensive Ends. There is nothing really quiet like popping pads on Friday nights What was one of your favorite memories this season? My favorite memory from this season was when in week nine it was win or go home. It felt kind of like a playoff game and its reality it was, both teams had 4-4 W/L records. My favorite words I heard from our head coach was "Great win, But Film on Monday!"

Who on Stark County had a breakout season this season? A couple guys come to mind, but Daniel Kieser really stood out this season. He broke the school record for most interceptions and finished All Conference first team punter, kicker, wide receiver and safety.
