So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Jimmie Maxson St. Rita WR Class Of 2025 6'4 185

Jimmie Maxson how is your season going so far? I think it’s going well, i’m very excited about our team so far. I think we have a lot of potential. What does football mean to you? To me, football means a lot. It is more than a game and has taught me a great amount of valuable life lessons and has pretty much introduced me into manhood. What should college coaches know about you? That i’m hardworking and will always put my team first. I believe that the team is only as good as its weakest link. I also believe if given opportunity I can show that I can be a great asset to any college at the wide receiver position and be a big playmaker.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My ability to make plays is a big one. Also, my ability to read and understand coverages. Another big one is being in a place to help my teammates make plays as well. What is your favorite route to run? Probably a post route. What motivates an Jimmie Maxson? The pressure of knowing I have God given abilities and trying to use those to become the best wide receiver I can be. To know that God didn’t have to bless me with what I have, but he did. So keeping that in mind motivates me to be the best.

What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season? To help my team make the playoffs and eventually state. Also, to keep getting better as a receiver and trying to be the best I can be not just for myself, but for my team as well.
