So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Luciano Tufano how has your offseason been so far? Haven’t had much of one. I'm a three-sport athlete so finding that time is tough. But I just tore a ligament in my ankle two weeks ago so I’ve been in the gym every day doing what I can to make up on missed progress. What does football mean to you? A lot. I grew up playing baseball and never really cared for sports. But once I tried football my freshman year it really became my first love. I really love the brotherhood and being to able to be apart of something bigger then myself. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Hustle

What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? I want to score my first touchdown and to be a captain of my team What is your favorite route to run? Never been much of a WR, I’m more of a hand the ball to me kinda kid. But I’d have to say i like running slants the best. What should college coaches know about you? I don’t care what I have to do or what position I have to play. My biggest goal is money off for college. My parents have done a lot for my older brothers as in paying for really good schools so I want to do my part in lessening the financial burden. I am not good at just one thing, any thing a coach needs me to do I’ll do. I’m very coachable and I know what my strengths are as an athlete and I know how to take advantage of that.

Who on St. Ignatius is ready for a breakout season? No doubt about it, my brother Bo Owen will help lead our defense with his versatility and leadership.
