Jake Mettetal St. Charles North Athlete Class Of 2024 5'11 180

Jake Mettetal how was your junior season? My junior season was great. As a team we finished with the best record in school history and went undefeated in the Dukane Conference after finishing 4-5 in 2021. I battled through a sprained ankle during the middle length of the season and was able to come back, finish the season strong and help contribute. What does football mean to you? Football means almost everything to me. Football has provided me with so many mentors and connections, that football is a part of my daily life. I love the process that comes with football, nothing is better than working towards a goal and getting better with your teammates year-round.

What schools have you talked to so far? I’ve talked with North Dakota State University, Drake University, North Dakota University and Minnesota State University at Moorhead. What should college coaches know about you? I’m able to and will play any position on the field, offense or defense. I’ve played 3 different offensive positions in high school; Quarterback, Running-back and Receiver. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My athleticism and intensity. I’m not afraid of making contact with anyone no matter the size and extending plays and catches with my athleticism. Who is one player on St. Charles North ready for a breakout season? I believe I am. This’ll be my 3rd year starting on varsity and I have one the best QBs in the state. That I’ll have a 3-year connection with and trusting teammates and coaches that believe me in me.

What goals do you have for yourself this season? This upcoming season I plan on contributing to the team on both sides of the ball and being the best player, I know I can be.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting
