Marcell Jerome how is your summer going so far? My summer is going good so far. How was your sophomore season? I would say my sophomore year was okay we didn’t make it to the playoffs as a team, but I think I did really good. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me I have a passion for the sport and love being a leader on the field. Also football is like an escape from the challenges of my everyday life. It allows myself to forget all worries and distractions. What should college coaches know about you? That I will never give up on my team and I’ll go out and give 100% on the field every time i’m on it.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My route running, I think is the best trait I have I can always find a way to get open.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
i’ve been working on speed the most.
How does Springfield Southeast look for the upcoming season?
We look really good, and we are putting a lot of work in preparing ourselves for the Week 1 game.
Who else on Springfield Southeast should be on the lookout for?
I would say our running back Easton Mcglathery, and another wide receiver James Cummings
What goals do you have for yourself this season? I have a lot of goals like getting to the playoffs, getting 1000 receiving yards, and making all-conference.
