Conversation With Seneca Lineman Chris Peura Class Of 2024
So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell
Chris Peura Seneca OL/DL Class of 2024 6'0 220
Chris Peura how is your season going for you so far? So far it couldn't be better. The team has played really well over the past 5 games, and I couldn't be prouder of the things my team and I have accomplished so far. How is the excitement in the Lockeroom? Before the game we are a lot more focused on what needs to be done, but after the game we are getting pumped up in the locker room. Everyone is joined in, and we play music and just get excited and hyped up for our accomplishments. What has been your favorite memory so far this season? Even though it wasn't our best game played my favorite memory so far was beating Salt Fork. We were down by a couple touchdowns in the 3rd quarter and the team pushing through it and coming back was amazing. The excitement and energy when we won was something I won't forget. What does football mean to you? To me football isn't just about winning or losing, even though winning is obviously more fun, to me it's more about building memories with your teammates and having fun while doing it. Who else on Seneca should I be on the lookout for? Asher Hamby and Nathan Grant play really well. Aiden Wood on the Oline is also a big help. What do incoming players need to know about this Seneca football program? The Seneca program is changing for the better, we are a team that works hard every day to accomplish what we want and are no longer a team that another team will look past anymore.
