Gage Aldred how was your season? It was exciting. Ever since the summer practices we did with other schools we knew we were going to go out and compete with almost every team on our schedule. It didn’t end how I wanted with a loss in the second round of the playoffs, but I felt like we were a few corrections away from being the football team we knew we could be What does football mean to you?
Football is the bond you build with your teammates and coaches. In season and off season you’re a family, freshman through seniors. Football is also the grind. You can’t just show up in the fall and expect to be the best on the field. If you want to be good you have to fall in love with the grind. What should college coaches know about you? I’m going to be the hardest worker you know. Any of my coaches could tell you that I don’t want anything handed to me. I'm in the weight room, the film room, and I’m there to be the best version of myself day in day out
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I know not only my job on the field but my teammates as well. There’re times where my teammates have to ask me their blocking assignments or what their run fit is in different stunts multiple plays in a row.
What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason?
Speed, athleticism, and playing aggressive but smart
Who ROWVA Williamsfield had breakout season this season?
Luke Nelson and Bryan Bertleshofer both had great seasons and helped us tremendously
