Jackson Stratton Quincy Notre Dame Athlete Class of 2023 6'2 190
Jackson Stratton how was your junior season? It was full of opportunities and challenges. One of the challenges was I didn’t know what position I was going to play on offense. So, for the whole summer and season I played both QB and wide receiver. And on defense I played linebacker and strong safety. We finished the year 6-4 and made the playoffs. What does football mean to you? It’s a violent game which is why I love it and I can’t imagine not playing it. What should college coaches know about you? I work hard, I learned the playbook, I’m a good teammate, and I’m a good leader. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Finding the open space whether I’m running or throwing the ball What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? My ability to read defensive coverages better and staying in the pocket longer. How does QND look for the upcoming season? We are looking good. We will have a strong o-line, a good RPO offense, and a tough defense. Have any funny Coach Cornell stories? Yes, one time Coach Jack made me run after practice because I was making fun of Illinois and Green Bay Packers. His two favorite football teams. And ever since that him and I always give each other crap if our teams lose.
