Drew Jennings Naperville North OL Class Of 2024 6'2 240
Drew Jennings how was your junior season? It was lots of fun and definitely learned a ton for next year. It was most fun getting back at central after losing our crosstown game. What does football mean to you? Football has always kept me disciplined. On top of that it’s not only loads of fun but also a time where I can let off some steam and go hit people.
What do you like about playing in the trenches? I love being in a physical contest every snap. I also appreciate a tough matchup where I can compete to prove myself. What should college coaches know about you? I’m a very hard worker who doesn’t see skipping anything as an option. I’m a disciplined student athlete who earned a 4.0 last semester. I was also elected as a team captain for 3rd varsity year. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Definitely my high motor. I will never let someone outwork me on a rep. I’m also a smart player who knows how to fix tough situations in the heat of the play. How does Naperville North look for the upcoming season? We’re looking great. Our d-line is improving lots and looking forward to what they can bring to practice reps. Who on Naperville North is ready for a breakout season? I think Matt Murphy is going to be ready for a comeback season; he’s coming off an injury from early last season. He’s going to be out for blood.
