Jayden Jones Mount Carmel Defensive Back Class Of 2024 5'11 165
Jayden Jones how has your offseason been so far? It’s been great, I’m bringing my track season to an end as well as my 7on7 season. Recruitment has been a bit slow, but I’m getting ready for some upcoming camps. What schools have you been talking to so far? I’ve been talking to Iowa, Washington State, North Dakota, and Holy Cross. What should college coaches know about you? Coaches should know that my ability to make plays and shut down receivers, can be done anywhere at any level. I’ve proved it in Florida, Arizona, West Virginia, and I can keep going. I believe i’m the best of the best and I’ve proven it by stopping the best of the best.
How was your junior season? It was great, I helped lead my high school to a 10-1 record setting season, having 6 interceptions while doing so. Junior season I learned how to lead a team and ultimately make my teammates around me better.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel my strongest trait is my ability to cover in man, I do a great job getting physical with receivers, and staying on the hip of routes. What goals do you have for yourself for the upcoming season? My goal is just to play the way I know how, showing all of my abilities including leadership, but ultimately help lead Mt. Carmel to back-to-back State Championships.
