Marshawn Durr how is your summer going for you so far? Great! I really just been grinding this off season trying to become a better teammate and player on and off the field. What does football mean to you? I would say football means a lot to me, from a very young age my dream was to play Division 1 football and to play in the pros! Football has always been something I can do to get away from my problems. How was your sophomore season? With my sophomore season being my first year starting on the varsity level I feel like I learned a lot of things, and with me dislocating my shoulder in the 5th game of the season. I feel like I couldn’t perform how I wanted too.

What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I’m determined I’m a great leader on and off the field. College coaches should also know that I’m willing to do anything possible to win and that I’m the best DB in the class of 25 out of Illinois!! What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I would say my strongest trait on the football field is my leadership, I take pride in being a vocal coach on the field. How does Leo look for the upcoming season? We look great! With us getting a new head coach I feel like it was a blessing, we get a new fresh start . We have a very young team that’s hungry and determined. We got a lot of dogs that feel like they have a lot to prove. We should be a team that other schools have to worry about in the Catholic League.

What game are you most excited for this upcoming season? Joliet Catholic! That game is going to be the game when Leo wakes the catholic league up, I can promise you that!
