Karmello Downey Harrisburg RB/WR Class Of 2024 5'11 168

Karmello Downey how was your junior season? It wasn’t as good as a playoff run as expected, but nothing the less still a good season. What does football mean to you? I don’t like being defined as just an athlete, but football is my everything. My way of making my family proud and starting a good life for myself. What should college coaches know about you? I’m a smart kid a great leader and I will do anything no matter what to keep a spot and to continue to make my family proud. I have no back up plan, this is what I’m going to do and I’m not stopping until that bell rings. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I would have to say my field vision and or cutting ability. I can make a whole out of nothing. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? Getting stronger and being able to lower the shoulder, so I can show that I’m not just elusive. Who on Harrisburg is ready for a breakout season? I’d say we all are, but I think me, and Tevin Godsey will come out on a different level this year.

What goals do you have for yourself this season? This season I want to lead the team no less then 3rd of playoffs and show them how good we are. Win conference. Go for over a thousand yards and get a chance to play at the next level.
