Nick Pedersen how has your summer been so far? Really good football camp is something I look forward too and I love working out and getting quality field work in How was your junior season? It was a good season for me I felt like I could’ve been more prepared overall but I think it can be improved on a lot. Our team had a tough conference but thankfully we finally have new teams to play and the games will be better geared for us What does football mean to you? I’ve been playing since I was 6 and to me it’s more than just a sport it changed you’re entire life, you’re discipline, mindset and lifestyle are all altered from football at least that’s how it feels for me it’s an extremely important part of my life.
What should college coaches know about you? I am a very dedicated player and I try my hardest every day to improve, I’m a fast learner and I’m always willing to take criticism and adjust my game What do you like about playing in the trenches? I love the physicality and just hitting people that’s the most fun part of the game for me What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My speed and IQ definitely help me a lot.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
Strength, explosiveness, and always technique/ footwork
What goals do you have for yourself this season?
I want to have as near as a perfect season as I can have by not letting any defenders get past me and not missing any of my blocks, but I also would like to have some more pancakes because those are very fun
Who else on Elmwood Park is ready for a breakout season?
I think the whole town is ready but also the receivers Jose Garcia and running back Johnny Baratta and many more
What do incoming Elmwood Park players need to know about this football program? They should expect a lot of hard work and commitment ever since we got our new head coach everything has changed and it’s a winning environment now.
