Jett Reese how is your summer going so far? My summer has been great, it’s been exciting to see the recruitment process really begin. How was your sophomore season? Started as a sophomore through the first couple games, Week 4 I broke my collarbone and was out the rest of the season. What should college coaches know about you? I play fast and downhill and can really move for my size. What does football mean to you? Everything, it runs in the family and the love for the game was instilled in me at a young age.
What part of your game do you feel is your strongest trait on the field? My speed, intensity, and playmaking ability. As well as encouraging teammates to play at a high level. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? My explosiveness and understanding of the game and linebacker position. What do you like about playing linebacker? The versatility of the position, being able to make plays anywhere on the field, as well as being the leader of the defense.
How does Depaul Prep look for the upcoming season?
We had a rough year last season but we’re moving in the right direction, we are bringing a lot of guys back and have an exciting young group heading into the fall.
Who else on DePaul Prep should we be on the lookout for this upcoming season? SS Danny Kelly stepped up huge for our team last year and can play anywhere in back 7 if he needs too. Smart player who plays with lots of intensity.
