Jake Carnrite how is your season going so far for you? My season has been going well and it will only continue to get better, there is no limits for this season , we have a great team. How has the energy been in the locker room? It’s unmatched. We have a connection through our seniors that no one else has. We treat each other like family What should college coaches know about you? I have great grades , my competitiveness carry’s on and off the field, I am a very competitive person and like to be the best at what i do. I lead my teams, I have a mentality that I will win no matter what it takes, but nothing is stopping me from winning. What do you like about playing Wide Receiver? I love the competition it brings and you having to be better than the person in front of you. Win every single down and never take a play off because if you are not catching the ball. You need to be getting a block for your teammate . I love the route running and how I can always sharpen my craft and get my routes crisper and crisper . I love perfecting my routes. I feel like I create great separation in game and make plays based off that. Also on my 50/50 balls my mentality is I’m catching this ball at all cost and then I throw my body and 99/100 I’ll catch the 50/50 ball. How good can this Crystal Lake Central team be for the rest of season? This team potential is through the roof , but potential means nothing unless you prove it and that’s what we’re going to do this season. Our 22 starters, I have so much trust in and every single one of them has that fight in their heart that is just un matched. We all make the sacrifice for one another to do whatever it takes to win. I think this is a state championship team. What goals do you have for yourself the rest of this season? I want to be a top 10 receiver in the state.
