Jamari West how was your junior season?
Individually, I felt I had a breakout season offensively and I feel like I had my best defensive year as a 3-year varsity starter. Overall, I rate my junior season as a disappointment because we didn’t reach our team goal which was a state title.
What does football mean to you?
Football is not just a sport to me. Football put me in positions I never thought I’ll be in. It brings strong brotherhood bonds and shows me skills of being a teammate & becoming a leader. One goal is to continue my passion and play at the next level.
What should college coaches know about you?
Colleges coaches should know I am a dynamic hardworking football player that can play multiple positions, but my best attribute is that I’m a great teammate.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I’m a playmaker... I’m a ballhawk and I'm dynamic with the ball in my hands.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I’ve been working on being a more explosive athlete & crafting my technique.

What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? State Champion, First Team All-State, Academic All-State
