Luke Alwin Batavia WR Class Of 2024 6'0 160

Luke Alwin how was your junior season? My junior season was great, It was important cause I got to learn from Drew Gerke who helped me grow and develop throughout the season and become better with every day that went by. The more I played the more comfortable I became and I’m very excited to showcase my talents for the upcoming season. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me, especially growing up in Batavia it’s really unmatched. You go to games as a kid and all you want to do is get on that field and experience it for yourself. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I’d say it’s my ability to create space What is one part of your game that you are working on in the offseason? My speed is my main priority right now. I’m trying to be as fast as I can be by the time fall comes around What game are you excited most for this upcoming season? Lincoln Way East, I got hurt last year against them and I felt like we started off sloppy in that game so this year I want to send a message and show them what we are really capable of.

Who on Batavia is ready for a breakout season? Jordan Buckley, he’s a beast and he is going to turn lots of heads this season and I’m excited to see what he does this year.
