Jaxon Diedrich how was your sophomore season? Overall, pretty good obviously I have some things to improve but I think I had a pretty good impact on the team and season. What does football mean to you? Football has meant a lot to me since I started playing. I always liked to go to the high school games and watch and try to learn how to be better. I think it has evolved into something I love to do and the bonding with my teammates and brothers is something I’ll never forget.
What should college coaches know about you? I am a hard worker and a leader. I lead by example on the the field, and do the small things nobody notices. I am very passionate about the game and I’m always willing to learn new moves and techniques. I’m dependable when a situation comes you can trust that I will go out there and give 100%. What was one of your favorite memories last season? Just being around all my teammates all year and the bonds we all share together. The trip to Knoxville is definitely up there, from the charter bus ride, to pizza ranch with everyone after. It was all in all a very fun day. Another one probably was getting to experience the Lena rivalry even though we lost. Who on DUPEC had a breakout season last season? Definitely AJ Mulcahy led the conference in yards and had around 90 tackles I believe. I think there was a couple people that nobody expected with one of our linemen and me both having very productive seasons. What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? I believe I can get first team all-conference on both sides of the ball and conference defensive MVP. With the amount of work, I am, and will be putting in during the offseason I believe those are going to be very achievable.
