Dominic McKibbin Bloomington Central Catholic OL 6'4 240 Class Of 2024

Dominic McKibbin, how was your junior season?

It was a great season! We were able to make it back into the playoffs and made it to the second round. We set the standard again of where our program needs to be. Made a lot of memories with a great group of guys. I can’t wait to get after it again for the upcoming season.

What does football mean to you?

Football is everything to me. I love the game and I always have. Some of my earliest memories are football related. I want to play the game as long as I can until I can’t anymore. What should college coaches know about you?

I care about every little detail. I am a leader on and off the field. I try to focus on getting 1% better with each opportunity. What you see is what you get. I do what I am asked. I am reliable and can be trusted. I never want to let anyone down, coaches, teammates, teachers, etc.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?

My technique and footwork has always been something I took pride in. It is by far my strongest trait and what I am best at. What do you like about playing in the trenches?

I love the bond the line has. It is different from every other position group. On the field, I love putting people on their back when I’m playing o-line and the 1v1 competition each play. On defense, I love getting in the backfield and causing havoc.

What part of your game are you working on in the offseason?

Weight-room and Size . I’ve always been a little behind in terms of numbers in this area, so this is my priority. I have already gotten a lot stronger and have put on about 25 pounds. I plan on increasing these numbers as much as I can as the offseason progresses.

What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?

I want to receive an offer to play football in college. I just want to play at the next level no matter the division. Who is one player on Central Catholic that is slated to have a breakout season?

Jackson Metzdorff plays LT and he is definitely a guy to watch. He’s having a great offseason and he works very hard. He has good size and he gets after it on the field. Another guy is Colin Hayes, my quarterback. He has great size and ability. He has a great frame and has a talented arm. He runs downhill and isn’t afraid to punish the opponent when he’s running the ball.
