Well, I know its early, but its Week 9 and I got a lot of work ahead of me for pairings and season awards. Loyola Academy wins a squeaker against a tough Mount Carmel squad. Althoff Catholic gets a huge statement win over DUPEC at Illinois Wesleyan Field. Rochester wins the Leonard-1-Less Bowl with the win over Sacred Heart Griffin. Lincoln Way Central wins in double OT over formidable foe in Bradley-Bourbonnais. Morton loses to Washington getting their first loss of the season. Seneca runs wild over St. Bede and remains undefeated. Duquoin gives Murphysboro its first loss of the season. Maroa Forsyth defeats Athens getting the Sangamo title. Quincy gets the big non-conference win over Mahomet-Seymour completing their story book 9-0 regular season. West Chicago wins over Larkin getting to a magical 5-4. Neuqua Valley wins big over Naperville Central getting to a 6-win season. Morris gets the conference title with a big win over Sycamore. Morgan Park gets the big win in Chicago over Simeon. Edwardsville get the big win after a tough loss to East St. Louis.
