Coach Big Pete's Sunday Conclusion For Week 6 IHSA Football 2021 Season - Highlights & Awards

By: Peter "Coach Big Pete" Leinweber
Week 6 has ended and I still don't want to make of this season. Games that should have been blowouts were too close for comfort. Again more upsets that weren't seen, and the upsets predicted did not happen and turned to blowouts. In simple form we have IHSA football shoulder shrugs for Week 6. Sandburg made a name in beating Lincoln Way East on Friday night. York beats Glenbard West in a tight fought game along with Wilmington having to battle for a win over Reed-Custer. Oh, and we still should be talking more about Benton and Mascoutah football as well. IHSA Football players make sure I have your game film - send VIA DM on Twitter or email coachbigpetefp@gmail.com. Quick Reminder make sure every Friday night after the game I get your stats (I'm looking for the IHSA Player of the Night). Please Coaches and Players make sure that I have your game film from that week so I can send it out. This Wednesday Deep Dish Football IHSA Poll Rankings Week 7 version come out...
