Coach Big Pete's Sunday Conclusion For Week 5 IHSA Football 2022 Season - Highlights & Awards

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are past the halfway point of the season. Jacobs, Iroquois West, Geneva, Ottawa Marquette, Joliet Catholic, Glenwood, Wood River, Prospect, Jacobs, Grayslake North, Warren Township, Lyons, and O'Fallon get their first big loss. East St. Louis, Morgan Park, Hersey, Lena-Winslow, Homewood Flossmoor, York, O'Fallon, Mt. Vernon, Pekin, Crete-Monee, Antioch, Huntley, Lincoln Way East, Seneca, Hersey, Lake Zurich, Williamsville, and St. Charles North get the big wins this half point of the weekend. Friday night outcome was a cause of anxiety, but Saturday outcome was calming and teams that were supposed to win have won. So instead of chaos, we still have a lot of questions. But Week 6 we have lots and lots of big-time conference matchups. So, let's review Week 5 2022 weekend and look back at some highlights. IHSA Football players make sure I have your game film - send VIA DM on Twitter or email coachbigpetefp@gmail.com. Also make sure every Friday night after the game I get your stats (I'm looking for the IHSA Player of the Night). Please Coaches and Players make sure that I have your game film from that week so I can send it out. This week on Wednesday, Deep Dish Football IHSA Poll Rankings come out.
