Coach Big Pete's Sunday Conclusion For Week 4 IHSA Football 2022 Season - Highlights & Awards

By: Peter "Coach Big Pete" Leinweber
Week 4 is in the books, and we are almost halfway to 2022 season mark. Naperville North, Wheaton North, Bartlett, Flora, Normal West, Peotone, Maine South, Palatine, and Lockport get their first big loss. Fairfield, Glenbrook South, Prospect, Homewood Flossmoor, Richmond-Burton, O'Fallon, St. Charles North, Dakota, Camp Point Central, Bradley Bourbonnais get the big wins this weekend. We had history last Thursday afternoon as two women square off as varsity head football coaches in the IHSA as Fenger's Konesha Rhea, DuSable’s head coach and Jouscelyn Mayfield squared off. Congrats to both coaches and well-deserved spotlight. Both schools are trying to rebuild their football teams after not having them for a couple of years. They are in need of help/donations of bottled water, football cleats, socks and other supplies. So, let's review Week 4 2022 weekend and look back at some highlights. IHSA Football players make sure I have your game film - send VIA DM on Twitter or email coachbigpetefp@gmail.com. Also make sure every Friday night after the game I get your stats (I'm looking for the IHSA Player of the Night). Please Coaches and Players make sure that I have your game film from that week so I can send it out. This week on Wednesday, Deep Dish Football IHSA Poll Rankings come out.
