How did your sophomore season go?
My sophomore season i finished the season with 4 sacks 10 tackles and 5 pancakes in only 3 games.
DeLaSalle had a rough year with low numbers resulting in the Varsity season being terminated. How did that effect your team’s season?
The low numbers had nothing to do with the season. We had a coaching change in May last year and multiple players transferred out. New coach set standards and the guys that stayed wanted to be a part of the change. 2025 will be different. Coach Blackmon is awesome. We were the ones that stayed and stuck through it with Coach Blackmon. He is an awesome coach, and we will build De La Salle back up Brick by Brick for 2025.
What will your off-season training look like?
My off season training is working out Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays. We do full body workouts and speed workouts to prepare for 2025.
What are your off-season goals?
My off season goals is to lead by example, trust my coaches, and work 110% at all times. 1. I would love to go All Conference and All State my junior year. 2.The GOAL is a 10 Sack Season 3. 4A State Championship
What do you like about playing the line?
What i like about playing the line is getting sacks and pancakes. Aggressive against my defenders to make plays for my teammates.
What does football mean to you?
Football is a tool I’m using to help me get into college and obtain a degree. Football has kept me busy and out the way staying in Chicago.
How are school and your grades going this year?
My grades are As and Bs with a 3.4 GPA.
What is one thing you want college coaches to know about you?
I am leader amongst my peers. I never give up and I’m always team first.
