We are almost to the end of the summer contact period. How did your off season and summer practices go?

My off season went really well and summer practices are going good we just got done with our July camp. Also we had two scrimmages that went really well and showed me a lot about our team this year.

What was the biggest focus of your off season training?

My biggest focus was really working on accuracy and velocity especially making a jump with those skills into next season where I’ll be trying to make more of a difference in order to get over the hump this year.

What is your strongest trait on the field?

My strongest trait is my ability to play-make with those around me no matter who is with me blocking or catching I believe I can win games and make the most out of my surroundings.

How do you analyze and adjust your performance during a game?

When it comes to in game adjusting i typically go to my offense that being the Recievers or lineman and seeing what they need from me to do in order for me to win and continue to perform. Another thing i do is talk to my coaches and tell them what I see on the field and what they see from the sideline that way i get all the information in order to make the best adjustment.

How do you work on building trust and chemistry with your receivers?

I work with my Recievers outside of practice and we also played 7v7 together in the off season.

What are your goals for the upcoming season and how do you plan to achieve them?

I plan on leading Hinsdale South to a winning season and a deep playoff run for the 1st time in 8 years.

What can we expect from Hinsdale South this season?

A team that can play with anyone and who can overcome adversity together. A team that will hold the rope for their brother and work hard and play harder.

Who on your team do you expect to have a break out season?

Our slot receiver and cornerback, Nicholas Ockrim (2025), and also our starting tackle Ryder McMurray (2025)

They have been putting work more than anyone and I can see it paying off!

What is one thing you want college coaches to know about you?

I want them to know that I am someone who can win games by any means necessary while also being a leader on and off the field.
