We are back IHSA Football Family!!! As is every summer conference previews and again please remember predictions and previews mean crap. High school football is the greatest thing because of pure parity. What is up last year could be down this year and what is down last year can up this year. ANYTHING AND I MEAN ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN IHSA FOOTBALL. Last year, 2022 was mild to surprises and was calm predictable season. Also, unlike some prep writers who take credit and copy and paste the coach's work off a crap team questionnaire I do my own work. Talk about a dream conference for Marian Central Catholic, this is a conference made for the Hurricanes to take quick control of. This season they have a star-studded offense with top playmakers in McThenia, Bentancur. Wheaton Academy could challenge the hurricanes but will be missing star Brummel to graduation but have star athlete Kasper. Not to mention a complete trench warrior in Brunner. Aurora Christian losses star QB to transferring but have stars in WR Hampton and DL Malone at the helm. Bishop McNamara is still a little green but could challenge for a state title with that youth movement in years to come. Bishop Mac has an absolute monster coming back in Jaydon Wright for this season. Chicago Hope graduates 3 playmakers but have some surprising talented youth taking over this season. No longer Hope has to play in an independent schedule, which could provide obstacles this season. Chicago Christian could be a huge surprise this season I love what they have in the backfield and with the linebackers as well. Christ The King is still a wait and see till second week of August, but Jalen Bea is star for them. St. Edward will be better off in this conference but the worry will be the defense for the fall. I see only one true state challenger in this conference and that is the Hurricanes.
