So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Tyler Moon Woodstock 6'2 275 OL/DT Class Of 2024

Tyler Moon how was your season? I had a great season, even with playing against some top-notch teams and getting beat I enjoyed every moment of it. I was very satisfied with my performance this season especially after seeing how much I’ve improved since last year. What does football mean to you? Footballs life, simple as that. I’ve been playing this sport since I was 4 years old and I have never been more passionate about something quite like I have with football. The friendships and brotherhoods made in this sport are unreal and irreplaceable. What should college coaches know about you? I am determined and eager to become the best. I have always and will always be disciplined to put the work in where it is due. What do you like about playing in the trenches? Growing up i’ve always been “the big guy” so being able to embrace it and be a key part and leader for the offensive line is huge to me. Another thing is it’s ugly in there, and not many people can handle it but I love it How good can this Woodstock team be for next season? We’ve got a lot of potential, i’m excited to see how some of our skill players like Keaton Perkins and Charlie Gilmore perform next year. Also a majority of our starting offensive line is returning next year with some notable names like Andrew Ryan ,Bode Pedersen ,and myself. I have very high hopes for the quarterback Charlie Walrod next year and am stoked to see what he can do.

Who is one team that you wish you could schedule a game against? I would love to play against Crystal Lake Central. My dad went there so it would be a great game for my parents to watch and it would be a good test of Woodstock's capabilities.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting
