Dan Theiss how was your sophomore season? I had a great season, I improved a lot on the field and I also learned things I need to work on for the future. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me. It is my favorite sport and it has taught me many life lessons. For example, what it means to be on a team, and that the rewards for winning make effort in the off-season worth it. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I’m a hard worker on the field and in the classroom, a good teammate, I love competition, and I strive to be the best in everything that I do. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I have been working on my strength, putting on weight, footwork and agility, and becoming a more explosive athlete. What is one game that you are looking forward to this upcoming season? I’m looking forward to Week 1 against Lake Forest. It’s going to be a very physical game and I’m excited to show everyone what I can do. What do you like about playing in the trenches? I love the physicality of the position, how the o-line is like a team within a team, and how much impact the o-line has on the outcome of the game.
