Jamari McGee how was your spring season?My spring season was great, I learned a lot from the older players and varsity coaches also got to preview what I can do on the fieldWhat does football mean to you?Football means a lot. I’ve always been around it due to family but only started to play my 8th grade year. Football is what brings my family together and family is what keeps me together. There is a lot to learn on and off the field with football to take home to your daily lifeWhat do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?I feel as if my strongest trait is my route running. I’m also working on being a better leader this season helping different guys out with something they’re struggling withWhat should college coaches know about you?Coaches should know that I am a hardworking and obedient player that is ready to be pushed to the next level with anything I do. I am also a good teammate who wants to see everybody around me succeed.How does Shepard look for the upcoming season?We are looking very good. A lot of work that has to be done due to the shortened season. But we are getting ready to be named SSC Red Champs again and the goal is to make a run in the playoffs and go down to state.
