Skip Rozanski how was your junior season?
My junior season it thinks was really good for me and said a lot about who I am as an athlete and a competitor. I started out as the number 2 running back on my team and that fueled me to show my talent and earn the number one spot throughout the season. It also was really a good opportunity to gain a lot of experience at the varsity level.
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything to me. It’s my happy place. Ever since I started playing in 4th grade, I have always found it to be my happy place. No matter what is going on off the field. Any stress or problems, it all goes away on the football field. Nothing else matters out there just having fun.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that my film isn’t all of who I am. Behind the scenes putting the work in, the will to get better not just for myself but for my teammates around me. I won’t be the loud leader that will yell at you and be super vocal. I’m vocal when I need to be, but I like to lead more by example and make 1 on 1 relationships with all of my teammates at build a brotherhood.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest trait is the will to win. Once I step on that field, I’ll do anything it takes to win. No matter what the score is or time I always want to give it my all to win the game. So, I think my competitiveness is my greatest trait.
How does Rolling Meadows look for the upcoming season?
I think the mustangs are going to shock a lot of people. We have a lot of really good talent coming up and a lot of our offense is returning starters which will bring good experience and leadership. I think we can make a really deep run this season and go undefeated in the regular season. Look forward to this season with my team.
How was your wrestling season? This wrestling season was not how I would have liked it to go. Unlike a long full successful season in past years. This year I only got to wrestle 1 match. Now that one match I won but after 13 years of wrestling and slowly losing the motivation for the sport, this year I didn’t wrestle. I still was in the practice room all season to help my teammates get better, but I would not say the wrestling season was very successful.
