Nate Moreno Richmond-Burton WR/ATH Class Of 2025 6'3 150

Nate Moreno how was your sophomore season? I think that overall, I had a really good sophomore season. This past season gave me the opportunity to really develop my skills and focus on becoming a better all-around wide receiver and teammate. What does football mean to you? Football means very much to me, it has taught me mental toughness, commitment, discipline, and the importance of having good relationships. Football gave me a place to belong and something to have pride in.

What should college coaches know about you? Coaches should know that I am committed to being the best that I can, that I am coachable and dedicated. I am constantly working on becoming a better player, leader, and teammate on and off the field. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait is getting back up after getting knocked down over and over again. I know how to compete and have fun while doing it. I never give up no matter how hard the challenge is. I give it my all the whole time that clock is running What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I have been working on speed and agility. I am currently on the track team to help with my form and technique. I have been working on my short burst as well as footwork. I have also been going to the gym to lift weights 4 days a week to build up my strength and stamina. How does Richmond Burton look for the upcoming season? I’d say we are looking like really good play off contenders. Our team is looking really strong and confident. We all are really excited and looking forward to our first game and the beginning summer camp.

Who else on Richmond Burton is ready for a breakout season? This is an easy one, Oscar Bonilla Jr. He plays tailback and had an awesome season last season. He has been in the gym and putting in the work all off season. We motivate each other and hold each other accountable to make sure we are always on top of our game. His speed and dedication speaks for itself.

What goals do you have for yourself this season? I want to have a significant improvement in my stats, work on being better about my nutrition, and I definitely want to help lead my team to the playoffs and win a championship!!
