Zach Gray Plainfield South DE/DL 6'4 235 Class of 2023

Zach Gray how was your junior season? It was good, the season didn't end the way we intended it to end but overall, we will do great things next season. What does football mean to you? It means everything to me! I have been playing since I was 5. What should college coaches know about you? I am very hardworking, and I am determined to be the best I can be. I am dedicated to my team and myself and I am always up for new challenges. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait would be that I'm not afraid of contact and that I am very physical. I also feel that my mental toughness is a very strong trait. What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? In my offseason I will continue to work on my speed, strength and footwork. What do you like about playing in the trenches? What I like about playing in the trenches is all the contact and hand fighting. Down in the trenches is where the game is won.

How does Plainfield South look for the upcoming season? We look solid, we have a lot of returners form last season and new talent coming up.
