Michael McLaughlin OL Peoria Notre Dame 6'4 260 Class of 2024

Michael Mclaughlin how was your sophomore season? It was mostly about learning, gaining experience, and confidence. It was challenging at times because I was always to blame being a sophomore, but in those times keeping your head down and just pushing makes it worth it. I also learned a lot about what the game is, mentally toughening, you have to know and play like you are the best one on the field to succeed. What does football mean to you? It’s a lifestyle. You have to give 100% every play with all your brothers to succeed. No one person can win on their own, you HAVE GOT to do it together. What do you like about playing in the trenches? We make or break the game; nothing happens without us. What should college coaches know about you? I will always do my best to put the team first. A position change, pushing myself to be better every day but not because of myself, for my brothers around me. What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? Speed, moving quicker, getting to blocks faster, and playing more physical. How does Peoria Notre Dame look for the upcoming season? We will be much better than people think. I’m going to be the only returning starter, and because of that most think we will fall off. We know how good we can be, and this group is special, we all have such great work ethics and want to be the best. Who on Peoria Notre Dame should I keep an eye out for? Bryce Seaton, Matthew Baker, Amare Breedlove, Liam Ludolph, Jeremiah Flores, Tommy Meyer
